This signature event is designed to give first-generation and dual-credit students a clear, supportive, and celebratory path to becoming Lions. Students can visit campus, connect with key offices, turn in outstanding documents, and — in many cases — receive an on-the-spot admission decision.

What to Expect

• 9 a.m. Check-In: Welcome table, event packet, name badge and a swag bag.
• 9:30 a.m. Open Session: Campus partners and student leaders will provide a warm welcome, outline the day and share next steps.
• Admissions Drop-Off and On-the-Spot Decisions: Bring your transcripts and required documents. Our admissions team will review files and may provide an admissions decision during the event.
• Advising Appointments: Meet academic advisors to discuss major pathways, transfer credit evaluation and class registration planning.
• Financial Aid Counseling: Talk with financial aid staff about FAFSA, scholarships and payment plans.
• Campus Tours: Lion Ambassadors will lead tours so families and students can see campus life first-hand.
• Next Steps Station: Enrollment deposits, orientation sign-ups, technology activation, housing inquiries—get it done on site.

How to Prepare

• Bring official or unofficial transcripts (the more complete, the better).
• Bring a photo ID and any completed admissions forms.
• Have FAFSA or financial aid documentation ready if you want a benefits review.
• Register in advance so we can reserve an advising slot for you and streamline check-in.
